Lulo’s diamonds sold for US$17 million

Four diamonds recovered from the Lulo mine in the third quarter of the year brought in a total of 17.063 million US dollars during 8th tender that has been held in Luanda by SODIAM.

According to a note sent to Sala de Imprensa ENDIAMA these are special stones of 41, 123, 208 and 235 carats respectively.

Of the 609-carat volume, the document says, the 208-carat type IIA diamond, which fetched the highest price of the Lulo parcel stands out.

Lulo Mining Company is made up of the Angolan companies ENDIAMA- E.P (32%) and Rosas & Pétalas (28%), as well as the Australian company Lucapa Diamond (40%).
