Angola’s National Diamond Company has been taking part from November 30, in COP 28- the United Nations Climate Conference- which runs until December 12 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Among a number of activities, ENDIAMA is scheduled to give a presentation on Saturday, 9th, about “recovering exploited areas through soil replacement and reforestation in diamond projects”.
This topic will be presented by the director of ENDIAMA’s Sustainability Area, Maria de Fátima Proença Nazaret, who heads the company’s delegation at the event, also including engineer Márcio Araújo, head of the Environmental Impact Study and Assessment Department, and two other employees from the Cuango and Chitotolo mining companies.
This is the second time that ENDIAMA has taken part in the United Nations Climate Conference, the first one was in Sharm El Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt, from November 6 to 18, 2022.
