Fundação Brilhante – Social Face of the Diamond Subsector was invited to take part in the Central Act alluding to the celebrations of April 14 – Angolan Youth Day, this year held at the Cine Chicapa, in the city of Saurimo, Lunda Sul Province.

As part of its remit, the Brilhante Foundation has supported Angolan youth with various actions and projects. In the period from 2021 to the first half of 2023, for example, the diamond subsector invested around USD 65,360,657.16 (sixty-five million, three hundred and sixty thousand, six hundred and fifty-seven US dollars and sixteen cents) in projects aimed at education and technical and vocational training for young people.

The event, presided over by the Minister for Youth and Sports, Rui Falcão, under the slogan “Empowered Youth – Angola Developed”, was also attended by the Provincial Governor of Lunda Sul, Daniel Félix Neto.
