ENDIAMA signed Tuesday, in Cape Town, South Africa, a mining investment agreement for the prospection, exploration, and commercialisation of diamonds with N’Dumba Ltd, a subsidiary of the Jean Boulle Group.
The N’Dumba concession, located in Lunda Norte province, covers an area of 222 km² and includes both kimberlite and alluvial deposits.
The agreement establishes the creation of a joint venture, responsible for the exploration and mining of the alluvial deposits within the concession’s boundaries.
Signed on the sidelines of the Mining Indaba, the agreement reinforces Angola’s commitment to attracting strategic investment in the mining sector, further consolidating its position as one of the world’s leading diamond producers.
The signing ceremony took place in Room 9 of the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) and was witnessed by the Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, as well as Angola’s Ambassador to South Africa, Rui Xavier.
