The Lulo Mining Society has announced today, July 27th, the discovery of a pink diamond with  170 carats.

According to Endiama E.P, Lucapa Diamond Company Limited and Rosas & Pétalas, the diamond stone may be the largest pink diamond recovered in the last three hundred years.

It was named as Lulo’s Rose, and it’s positioned as the 5th largest diamond discovered in that concession.
