The week of exchange between the national secretariats of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) of Mozambique and Angola begins this Monday in Maputo.
The Angolan delegation includes the board of the National Coordination Committee, representatives of the government, the extractive industry and civil society.
For five days (from July 1 to 5) the delegations will review various issues in joint and specialty meetings, highlighting aspects linked to the preparation and presentation of Reports to the International Secretariat, licensing and registration of mining and hydrocarbon activities, involvement of civil society, among others.
The members of the Angolan delegation held a preliminary alignment meeting yesterday, Sunday.
The EITI-Angola National Coordination Committee is chaired by José Malanga and in Mozambique Isabel Chuvambe is in charge.
