Chitato: More than 50 peasant women receive financial support

Fifty-three peasant women from Chitato- Lunda Norte – that are enroled in the Catoca rural women supporting program have recently benefited with 36 thousand kwanzas to boost their activity in the food production chain.

Fundação Brilhante’s main advisor for productive area, Carlos Fazenda, made it known the aim of the program and expect with the delivery amount rural women to buy hoes, machetes and seeds for the next year agricultural campaign.

Chitato vice-administrator for the social and community area, Esmeralda Maximata have both with beneficiaries praised the initiative and expressed their contentment.

The journey continues until the 19th of May in the other municipalities of the province, expecting to benefit a total of 300 women with the disbursement of up to 10 Million 800 thousand kwanzas given by Catoca as part of its social responsibility.
