A delegation from ENDIAMA E.P.’s Professional Training Center – CEFOPE, headed by General Director António Lufianlisso, visited the headquarters of Fundação Brilhante – the social face of the diamond subsector.

In Dundo, the delegation was received by the Acting Director General of Fundação Brilhante, Hermenegildo Lopes, followed by a meeting which also included CEFOPE board members and Fundação Brilhante technicians.

The two parties reviewed the workings of the two institutions and strengthened the ties between them, the result of an institutional cooperation protocol signed last year, for the training of disadvantaged young people from some communities in the eastern corridor, sponsored by the Fundação Brilhante.

For the current training cycle, the Brilhante Foundation has enrolled six young people who will attend technical and qualification courses at CEFOPE.
