In the first phase, the center will teach around 10 courses, including General Mechanics, Locksmithing, Plumbing, Auto Electricity, Low Voltage Electricity, Cookery and Pastry, Cutting and Sewing, English and IT.

The courses will be taught according to a number of criteria, namely 16 mechanics and a further 10 trainees each, 76 per term, making a total of 380 students per year. INEFOP has confirmed that it already has the trainers for this process.

ENDIAMA E.P.’s Executive Director for Legal Affairs and Social Responsibility, Ana Maria Feijó, signed the memorandum for the center and handed over the keys to the governor of Lunda-Norte province, Deolinda Satula, in the presence of the Secretary of State for Natural Resources, Jânio Coreia Victor, traditional authorities and members of the local government.

On the occasion, Ana Feijó said that the act represents yet another joint action of social responsibility between ENDIAMA E.P. and the Cuango mining company and that it will serve to train technicians from the region to meet the needs of the mining projects.
