Angola Diamond Potential (ADP) held a special session on Thursday in Las Vegas under the theme “The 5th C of Angola’s Diamonds – Communities”, an initiative that brought together some of the most influential figures and organisations in the global diamond industry.

The session, which was attended by a full house, featured representatives from the industry, jewellers, investors, experts and leading institutions, including the GIA, the World Diamond Council, Rapaport and major companies in the sector.

The event was organised by Angola Diamond Potential, a platform which this year includes the joint participation of ENDIAMA, Sociedade Mineira do Luele, Catoca, Kaixepa and Chitotolo, reinforcing the strategy of coordinated promotion of Angola’s diamond potential in key international markets.

During the session, Angola presented a narrative focused on the positive impact of natural diamonds on community development, highlighting initiatives linked to education, job creation, local economic development, sustainability, corporate governance and social responsibility.
