ENDIAMA invests USD 79.5 million in social projects

ENDIAMA has invested around 79.5 million dollars in social projects, starting with 5,700 young people with scholarships and school kits, and has supported more than a thousand families with agricultural inputs, according to the director of Studies and Technological Projects, Ady Van-Dúnem

The state-owned diamond company has completed nine infrastructure projects, and the company stresses that this is yet another step, reaffirming its commitment to community development.

He said that within the scope of mining exploration, ENDIAMA had allocated 42.3 million dollars to geological and mining prospecting activities.

Currently, 54 projects are in the effective prospecting phase, including five primary and 20 secondary, generating 1,37 jobs.

Of particular note are the Moquita and Luachimba projects, which are expected to go into production in 2025, with planned investments of 60.7 million dollars and 15 million dollars respectively.
