Lunda-Sul Province, today, April 25^th, hosts the activities allusive to the Miner’s Day that is celebrated on April 27^th.

The inauguration ceremonies of the IGEO regional laboratory of Saurimo and of the Angolan diamonds’ laboratory are the main events on the day’s agenda.

After that, a visit to the Catoca Mining Society Social Project and a workshop on the mineral potentialities – diamonds and satellite minerals will follow.

The Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil, and Gas, Diamantino de Azevedo, the Province Governor, Daniel Félix Neto, ENDIAMA, SODIAM and IGEO CEOs will participate in the events.
