Angola is preparing the second report of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) to be presented by September 30 of this year.
The country was admitted as a member of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative in 2022 and is awaiting the International Secretariat’s consideration of its first report presented in December last year.
Angola’s first assessment, as an EITI implementing country, is scheduled for early October this year, having started collecting information and interacting remotely with stake holders in August.
The final result of the first assessment as an EITI implementing country should be released on a date to be set no later than 90 days after the face-to-face assessment visit, but no later than March 1, 2025.
