The delegation of ENDIAMA’s Vocational Training Center who have recently visited the Industrial Learning Service of Minas Gerais in Brazil, gathered experiences about the technical-vocational education carried out by the Mobile School Units.
The visitors received explanations about the operation of the mentioned Units, integrated by laboratories, workshops and classrooms to meet the specific needs of the industries in the whole State of Minas Gerais.
According to the instructor André Luís Pimenta, the professional qualification follows a minimum workload of 160 hours and includes reprofessionalization processes for workers who need a new qualification.
André Pimenta also advanced that the Mobile School Units help in the development of their own activities in the modalities of Professional Initiation, Qualification and Improvement.
The instructor has also explained that Initiation is aimed at young people and adults capable of performing low complexity functions of a particular profession, regardless of their level of schooling, while improvement meets the needs for qualification, arising from technological innovations and new production and management processes.
