Taaden formally joins Catoca Mining Society

0

The formalisation took place this Monday, the 26th, through the signing of a Public Deed for the entry of Taaden – a subsidiary of the Oman Sovereign Fund – into the share capital of Catoca, through the acquisition of shares from ENDIAMA-E.P., which was signed by the representatives of the companies in question.

The act was preceded by Alrosa’s withdrawal from Catoca Mining Society which transferred its shares to ENDIAMA.

At the same time, the withdrawal of Catoca Mining Society from the capital of Luele Mining Society was signed, with the shares being transferred to Taaden, which consequently became a partner in that company, in compliance with Presidential Order No. 17/25.

With these signatures, the negotiation process is over and the change in the corporate structures of Catoca and Luele has been finalised.

The Secretaries of State for Mineral Resources, Jânio Corrêa Víctor, and for Oil and Gas, José Alexandre Barroso, witnessed the act on behalf of Minister Diamantino Azevedo.
