A delegation from ENDIAMA-E.P., headed by the Executive Director for Strategic Planning and Mining Operations, Laureano Receado Paulo has visited on Wednesday the Luaxe project, in Lunda-Sul, to assess the degree of implementation of ongoing work in the mine, linked to the construction of infrastructure for the assembly of the ore treatment plant.

At the end of the verification visit, Receado Paulo said that with the conclusion of the works at the Luaxe treatment plant and its entry into operation the sub-sector may see a significant increase in diamond production.

He also stressed that, once completed, the infrastructure could reduce operating costs with the transport of ores from Luaxe to the Catoca mine, where the first samples are currently treated.
