A multidisciplinary team from ENDIAMA-E.P. visited the Gambos Mission, in Huila province, to inspect the progress of the construction work on the Regional Centre for Agro-Ecological Practices (CERPA), with the aim of checking the degree of execution, identifying possible constraints and assessing the deadline for the project’s delivery.
Construction work on CERPA, which began in May 2024, is being financed by ENDIAMA to the tune of more than a billion kwanzas, through the Brilhante Foundation, the social arm of the diamond subsector.
Bruno dos Santos, coordinator of the Multidisciplinary Commission, expressed satisfaction with what had been seen. ‘We left here satisfied with our mission accomplished,’ he said.
The project is currently around 70 per cent complete, with delivery expected in three months.
António Bambi, technical director of Angenol, the company responsible for the construction, guaranteed that the work is going according to plan. ‘The work is going well, we’re entering the completion process, with no cause for complaint,’ said Bambi, guaranteeing that the project is on track and will be completed on time.
The Regional Centre for Agro-Ecological Practices will be an academic-professional training institute dedicated to family farming adapted to climate change and environmental protection initiatives, representing a significant investment in the sustainable development of the region.
