The National Diamond Company of Angola (ENDIAMA-E.P) inaugurated today, 12th January its latest housing project, called Viana-B, with 81 social houses built from scratch.

The ceremony, which took place in Luanda Sul, in the municipality of Viana, Luanda, was led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENDIAMA-E.P, Ganga Júnior, and is part of the company’s social responsibility and human capital development programme.

The construction of the three-bedroom homes had a budget of around six million US dollars and will benefit a group of workers, some of whom are already preparing for retirement.

On the occasion, the Chairman of ENDIAMA spoke about the selection criteria and stated that the Viana-B Urbanisation will be able to guarantee greater dignity for workers who face various challenges in obtaining their own homes.

The activity is part of a series of actions to be developed as part of the celebrations of the 45th anniversary of the state-owned diamond company, created on 15 January 1981.
