The 2nd Sustainability Week, organised by the National Institute for the Support of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (INAPEM) under the theme “Green Transition and Economic Development in Angola”, opened this Tuesday in Luanda.
The event, which runs until Friday 10 April, aims to promote sustainable practices, innovation and sustainable economic development.
ENDIAMA is represented by the Director of the Sustainability Office, Fátima Proença, who took part in the panel on Sustainability in Natural Resources: The Path to a Sustainable Transition.
In her address, she spoke of the importance of sustainability in Angola’s diamond sub-sector, which she considered to be not only an obligation but also a corporate strategy aimed at mitigating the impact of mining activities on communities living in mining areas.
The 2nd edition of Sustainability Week – by INAPEM features a range of exhibitions, workshops, lectures and other activities.
