Culture: ENDIAMA supports Carnival in five provinces

0

The National Diamond Company of Angola (ENDIAMA-E.P.) has reaffirmed its commitment to national culture by offering 60 million kwanzas to support Carnival in five of the country’s provinces, namely Luanda, Lunda-Norte, Lunda-Sul and Moxico and Moxico-East, strategic regions for the company’s activity and which have a strong cultural tradition.

ENDIAMA’s support for Carnival shows that it values national identity and recognises the importance of cultural events for social development.

The company has regularly invested in social responsibility projects, focussing not only on sustainable mining, but also on promoting culture, education and social inclusion.

Carnival, considered one of the country’s greatest cultural expressions, represents a moment of unity, creativity and the preservation of Angolan traditions.

The funding offered by ENDIAMA has guaranteed better conditions for the carnival groups, contributing to the organisation of the parades and encouraging people to take part.

For the company, supporting cultural events like Carnival reinforces its commitment to the development of the communities where it operates, promoting social welfare and strengthening the country’s cultural heritage.

According to the company’s management, ENDIAMA will continue to play an active role in highlighting Angola’s artistic and cultural manifestations, ensuring that culture is increasingly recognised as an essential pillar of national development.
